A compilation of more than 100 movie posters from Iran, produced between 1950 and 2000, compiled by Paris-based publisher and curator Charles Deroyan.

A wonderful resource for those interested in the intersection of cinema and graphic design and the visual vocabulary of film promotion in Iran, as well as designers interested in the global history of poster design. Included posters utilize photography, illustration, photo collage, and expressive typography.

Multidisciplinary designer Charles Deroyan established Masala Noir, an independent Paris-based publishing project focused on capturing global cultural aesthetics through archival imagery—ranging from hip-hop iconography to Japanese punk visuals
